Portrait Painting

Full courses for adults run for eight weeks at a cost of $250 plus materials. All courses are for leisure time skills development only and are not linked to any sort of formal qualification.

During the course I will be teaching you how to turn a printed image into a portrait painted in both oil and acrylic paint together. I have been teaching this process for five years now with a 100% success rate. Students who have been through the first course generally like to take further courses with me so that they can carry on developing their skills and make more informed decisions in their work.

Classes begin on February 8th 2010 onwards.

For those attending classes at Jervois Road, there is a mini library with many art books available for research as well as the internet if desired. I am also able to project different aspects of interest and imagery pertinent to the teaching via the internet on to the wall (large format) of the teaching room.
