Drawing course: 8 weeks
This course is designed to improve your drawing skills. Although you will not earn a formal qualification, you will find it very beneficial whether you are working towards developing a portfolio in your art/design studies, or simply wish to pursue drawing as a hobby.
This is the same format as the Drawing course on the 'Art Classes' page, but with a couple of alterations.
Please feel free to view the drawing videos on the 'Live Lessons' page that compliment the drawing classes which will be running from South State Street, Tacoma at the end of 2012.
Course Structure
Week 1 : Drawing using the grid system.
Week 2 : Drawing using tonal contrast.
Week 3 : Drawing from life - male face and torse.
Week 4 : Drawing from life - female model.
Week 5 : Drawing 'Still Life' with the option of combining 2D imagery with 3D objects.
Week 6 : Drawing in the style of an Artist Model using colour.
Week 7 : Drawing landscape using an Artist Model.
Week 8 : Graphics - Logo design.
Classes and courses can be tailored especially towards individual requirements.
Terms and Conditions
Fees must be paid in full before or on starting the course.
Cancellation and Fees Refund Policy:
Course fees can be refunded upon cancellation of courses up until three days before course commencement. If there has been no formal cancellation on or before this date, a credit of lessons may be used at any time suitable to both tutor and student in the future. If due to a change in circumstances concerning either tutor or student during the course where the tutor is not able to conduct lessons at the studio address or the student is not able to attend lessons at the studio address, online pre-recorded live lessons of the 8 week drawing course are available for the student to commence with at a time suitable to both student and tutor. Live tutoring via webcam and national or international phone conversations relating to the lessons are also offered for either painting or drawing students. No other conditions apply at this time.
