How to Order a Painting

Send me your favourite photo(s) - images can be taken from two or more photos and merged together to create a unique painting if so desired.

If the painting is to be a portrait of yourself and possibly your family and you are in the Auckland region I can come to you, or we can meet at a scenic location and I will shoot off a roll of film. I will send you the photos so you can choose your favourite image which you then post to me. We discuss the canvas size, price and expected delivery date. As I am painting the work, I will keep you updated with the progress by emailing you digital images of your painting. This provides you with the opportunity to have your own input into the developing work. Comments and criticisms are welcomed as it enables me to create an image that you are completely happy with. After this point you are invited to come to my place and view the work and I will make any final adjustments if required. Painting sizes begin with the A4 size exquisitely detailed oil paintings, starting at $275. You may go as large as you like.

A deposit of half of the final cost is required on agreement to paint the commission.
